Objectives of our Department
  • To produce best doctors for the society who can deal with all the ENT emergencies as well as common disorders.
  • To attract the all ENT patients from North-East region of the Chhattisgarh
  • To do cochlear implant surgeries to rehabilitate the deaf mute
  • To do all the ENT and head and neck surgeries
  • To provide the services of rehabilitation of communication disorders and amplification devices for the hearing impaired.

    I am very happy to work with 5 well experienced doctors, who are very interested in serving the poor and teaching the students. I am also happy to inform that we are having two junior residents and one audiologist and one speech therapist. We are well equipped with all the ENT instruments like nasal endoscopes with Stryker HD camera, microscope for ear surgeries, with Alps digital audiometer and speech therapy materials. I am glad to inform that we are doing all the basic ENT surgeries like tonsillectomy,adenoidectomy,septoplasty,FESS, Endoscopic DCR, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy , thyroid ,parotid and head and neck surgeries. In near future we are going to do the cochlear implant surgeries with the help of our respected Dean Dr. Aadile. I want to inform the society that we are very eager to help the ENT patients of this region. Please visit our hospital and I assure you the friendly environments and best treatment.

  • Syllabus
    Clinical Training:

    The students would be posted in the ENT department (OPD and Ward ) for a total period of 2 months on rotation basis . Here they would learn the basic ENT examination and become familiarized with diagnosing the common ENT diseases and learning the elementary management, including communication skills. The clinical training would consist of:


  • Two classes on introduction to the clinical aspects of ENT including proper Ear, Nose and throat examination
  • Bed side teaching and case discussion on common ENT conditions like CSOM, Deviated Nasal septum, tonsillitis, rhinosporidiosis, Nasal polyps, voice problems, deafness, neck masses, and cancers etc.
  • Orientation to the commonly used ENT instruments and X-Rays in ENT practice
  • Exposure to commonly done OPD procedures like nasal packing, ear packing, cautery, simple foreign body removals etc.
  • Exposure to selective operative procedures like tracheostomy, tonsillectomy, septoplasty, Nasal polypectomy etc.
  • Preventive Otology and head & neck cancer.
  • Examination pattern

    One terminal examination, one ward leaving examination, pre university examination and university examination.
